I just noticed that just about no one else has taken advantage of the new Audio Portal favorites system. I probably hold the record for favorite Audio Portal songs, mainly because I don't listen to much other music. Is it just that everyone else doesn't like audio portal stuff and prefers mainstream music?
Discuss or something.
And I thought I had the record for most favorited music with a total 3 favs....

The audio portal is a great place to listen and dL some good, free music. Mike really outdid himself with it. Too bad no one ever goes in there. :\

Yeah, I usually only go to the audio portal when I'm looking for music for my animations. It really is impressive just how good some of the songs in there really are, really professional stuff. I've found a lot of good music in there that I actually listen to on a regular basis now, truely a good thing. People will use it more as time goes on, I'm sure. The music lovers will, anyway. RAWK!
until it becomes more practical and be able to listen to the music in it anywhere in the audio portal, it will stay as unvisited as it was before the redesign. i was told you would be able to listen to you favourites as a playlist, or i think there is going to be some kind of mini audio player...
And here I thought I was the only one who noticed it. I love this feature. Much easier to show people the music I like on Newgrounds. Oh I totally have you beat on favorite music though. But more to the point, mainstream can be nice music, but that stuff isn't free and simple to find. Newgrounds music is simple to find and free to get. Sad that not many people know how great the music can be in the audio portal considering how easy it is to do.
I guess people just don't notice it because newgrounds is a flash site and not really a music site. So people go for the flash and not the music.

I don't listen to any music much, I guess I just never think about it. I'd listen to stuff in the audio portal more, but it's too inconvenient trying to find a group of tracks that you like, and then navigating between them when one has finished and you're ready for the next. If I could build up a playlist or something, that'd be great. (Does this feature already exist? I haven't looked much).
Well, actually yes, kinda. You can favorite audio tracks and artists now. After favoriting a list, go to your userpage and scroll down to favorite audio and click all favorites.
